About Digital Cash Code
Digital Cash Code is an affiliate site with one rule on every product page: it says who should skip the product before it shows you the button. Sellers pay us a commission when you buy through a link. You pay the same. We also make and sell our own courses.
What is here, and what is not
The home page lays out our Pinterest boards: preparedness, off-grid projects, food storage, herbs and home remedies, small-space gardening, bedding, Halloween, online privacy, and our courses. Each pick opens one of three kinds of page: a book or kit page, for the guides, plans and kits we promote on Digistore24; a brand page, one per brand we work with at CJ Affiliate; or a course page. Guides answer one question each.
We are approved on 8 programmes at CJ Affiliate: BLUETTI, Click & Grow, GroundLuxe, NordPass, NordVPN, Personalabs, Surfshark and Abracadabra NYC. 8 of them have a page today. A product gets a page only when we would send a friend to it. There is no ranking to buy and no category we fill for the sake of filling it.
A guide is written to be useful whether or not you buy anything. Where the honest answer is a cooler full of ice, a smaller model, or the option we are not paid for, the guide says so — and there are rows on this site that recommend exactly that.
Brand pages publish no prices. A price on a page like that is out of date the week after it is written, and a wrong price is a small betrayal of the person reading it; the brand’s own page has the number that will actually be charged, and every button there opens it. Book and kit pages do show a price, with the date we read it on the seller’s order page. The seller can change it, and the figure at their checkout is the one you pay.
Who runs the site
Digital Cash Code is run by Luis Betancourt, an independent publisher and web developer. Pages are researched and written by Luis with the help of writing and research tools, and every published page is checked by a person before it goes live. We are not doctors, electricians or financial advisers, and we say so on the pages where it matters.
What a brand page contains
- The maker’s own photographs. Every product picture on a brand page comes from the merchant’s own product data, downloaded and served from our domain so an ad blocker cannot break the page. We do not use stock photography and we do not stage anything.
- The problem, before the product. A power cut, a kitchen with no window, a bad night’s sleep, a hotel Wi-Fi. If the problem is not yours, the page tells you so early.
- Which one fits. Most of these brands sell a range. The page names the model or the plan for your situation instead of pushing the most expensive one.
- Who should look elsewhere. A real list, before any button. A refund you have to chase is worse for both of us than a sale that never happened.
- What we did not check. Terms, warranties and specifications are the maker’s to publish. We link to them; we do not fill the gap with guesses, and a merchant’s own claim is marked as theirs.
How the site makes money
Every button that leads to a seller is an affiliate link, through CJ Affiliate or Digistore24. If you click one and buy, the seller pays us a percentage of the sale, and you pay exactly what you would have paid arriving there on your own. Sellers do not pay for a page, do not send us free products, and do not see a page before it is published. A higher commission does not move a brand up this site.
Our own courses are the exception: they are sold on Udemy and Gumroad, and when you buy one the money comes to us as the course’s author, not as a commission.
The full terms are on the affiliate disclosure page.
What we will not do
- Invent customer testimonials, star ratings or “verified buyer” reviews.
- Show countdown timers, fake stock counters or invented discounts.
- Claim that any product treats, cures or prevents a disease.
- Publish a number we did not read on the merchant’s own site.
Corrections
Merchants change their ranges and their terms often. When we re-check a page we update the date it carries. If something here is out of date or wrong, we want to know: tell us and we will fix it.
